Officials address coronavirus response, Hispanic cases


Clark County and other local officials are expected to update the public Tuesday morning on the latest efforts to address the coronavirus outbreak, while also announcing a new effort to fight a growing number of cases within the Hispanic community.

Officials plan to host a 11 a.m. news conference at the Clark County Government Center in downtown Las Vegas.

County Commission Chairwoman Marilyn Kirkpatrick, Commissioners Tick Segerblom and Jim Gibson, Las Vegas Councilwoman Olivia Diaz and Southern Nevada Health District Acting Chief Health Officer Dr. Fermin Leguen are among those expected to participate.
